Aim: To encourage the group to be safe when using the Internet.
We use the internet for just about everything now – shopping, socialising and even downloading youth resources! But how safe is the internet, and how much can you trust the information that is on it? This session looks at how we use the internet and how we can ‘surf with safety’.

Theme: Our Peers
Aim: To encourage the young people to think about who their friends and role models are and why.
The people who we are closest to often have a large impact on the individual we are and will become. Therefore, it is important for us to have friendships that build us up rather than break us down, and it is good for us to have role models that positively influence us. In society today, the media presents young people with lots of celebrity role models, who can often have a negative influence on the way a young person may see themselves. This Rock Solid session aims to help young people to discover what the Bible says is worth valuing in a friend and role model.

Theme: Trust
Aim: To teach the young people that it can be hard to work out who can and who can’t be trusted, but that God is the most trustworthy person ever.
These days it can feel like everyone is only out for themselves, that the days of having friends we can completely trust have gone. This session will look at how it can be hard to find out who can and can’t be trusted but show that God can be trusted with all things.
